We remember our first night in Melbourne.
DayOne Kit was started by international students in Melbourne. Like thousands of students every semester, we landed after a long flight, checked into an empty room, and spent our first night without proper bedding.
The next day was spent on trams with bags of quilts and pans instead of exploring our new city. We built DayOne Kit so the next student can skip that part.
Our mission
Turn a student's most stressful first week into a smooth first day.
Pre-order first
We buy stock only after students pre-order. That means less waste, better prices from suppliers, and no warehouse full of unsold quilts.
Built around the arrival
Delivery is timed to your move-in date, not a generic shipping window, so your room is ready when you are.
Support in your language
Moving countries is stressful enough. Our team helps in English and Mandarin, before and after you land.
